• There will be construction barriers around several sides of the manhole you should enter.

• You should be between two rows of bushes.
• Travel towards the top part of the screen, go right when you see a park bench.
• You will come to a wall. Follow the wall down until you can go around it.
• Follow this wall up and you will cross a bridge.

How do I earn 10,000?
• Hard work, proper use of the scooter, and knowing the times jobs start and stop.
• There is always a job to go to at anytime of the day - there may be small down periods as you cannot go to the same job twice in a day.
• Use the scooter to move quickly to the next job site, since motives do not decay.
• Repeat this cycle until the amount of money you desire is achieved

How do I make the lifeguard (Misty Waters) hate me more? She is at xx% and will not talk to me anymore.
• To solve your current situation just wait one Sim day, and she will probably talk to you (It might take longer)
• Special tip for next time: Never talk for longer than three conversation options.
  Choose two or three conversation options, quit the conversation and restart it.
  The Sim treats the next conversation as a NEW conversation, thus allowing he relationship to drop even lower.
  This trick works on anybody!

• You have to select the first option on the phone "Services," and Sculptor is on that list.

What significant scientific discovery do I need to make?
• Go back to your roots and visit Uncle Hayseed's farm
• Notice the tractor is no longer parked in front of the barn
• Go inside the barn and look around carefully

How do I get the camera?
• You purchase it at Nicki Knack's

• Might want to consult one of your elders
• Your Uncle is wise, he might be able to help you

General GamePlay Questions

I am stuck on (insert mission) and I am talking to the person that is supposed to trigger the next level and nothing is happening. What am I doing wrong?
• The most likely cause is that a previous goal in that mission was not "closed out".
• Keep an eye out for people with '!" over their heads, it means they have something to tell you
• After every goal there is a person that you should visit which triggers the end of that event - also known as "closing out" an event.
• In most cases this person is the person who unlocked the mission - but not always.
• Pay attention to clues in the dialogue for information about who will close out the mission for you.

Where is Giuseppi's crate? I cannot find it and I do not want to be charged for it!
• You must go into your house
• Within the first screen size area, or two, you will find the crate
• When you are down unpacking the crate, choose the "Return Crate" Option

Why can't I eat? My Sim just throws their arms in the air when I direct them to eat at a stove or refrigerator.
• You lack the funds necessary to eat a meal from both the refrigerator or stove
  20 for meals from a refrigerator
  40 for meals from a stove
  
• There are more affordable meals at the biker bar, but these will not sustain you. The best thing to do is go to work and earn some money!
  Mowing Madness or Bait Flingers are perfect for this because they are available to be worked on any time for 13 to 15 hours a day

Is there anyone that can't move into your house?
• Sims that trigger events, like Daddy Bigbucks, cannot be roommates.
• In general, the people that *can* move into your house are wearing "normal" clothes, much like your Sim wears.

How do I stop from being robbed?
• First method, buy a burglar alarm from the General store - items randomly spawn each Sim day at midnight
• Second method; do not use your house as a home.
  You can continue to use all the comforts of Uncle Hayseed's house.
  The only thing that triggers a burglar event is walking in your house if you never use it, then you keep everything intact
  

I painted a "Less Than Grand" Painting and now it is taking a spot in my pocket, How can I get rid of it?
• Daschell Swank collects all forms of art, good and bad
• The General store will also buy it.

How do I get in the Library?
• Advance to Mission 3, goal 3, talk to Hester Primm she will open the library for you

How do I get (insert item) out of my inventory?
• Check the Pocket screen and see if there is a person attached to the item, it will read "Deliver to (Person's name)"
  You can deliver the package anytime during the game, you get financial rewards the faster you deliver it however
• Goal items can sometimes always be picked up (Books for the library, the Veloci-Rooster, etc.)
  They can always go to the person you originally game them to (Books for Hester, Veloci-Rooster to Detective Dan, etc.)
• You can always try to sell them at one of the many stores in SimValley

What do I do with: Aluminum Cans, Old Glass Jars, Mechanical Cogs, Nuclear Fuel Rods, and 3-Eared Mice?
• You could always keep them, but you could always earn some more Simoleons by recycling them at the VirtuChem
• The prices at Virtuchem change daily. The max price for each item:

How do you bring up your popularity?
• Raise your relationship with everyone in the game
• Popularity = Total relationship points / Number of Sims in the game (26) - This number is rounded up

Where do you find aluminum cans?
• Aluminum cans are located through out the world map
• You will never find aluminum cans inside buildings
• After a period of time aluminum cans reappear in places you found them
• Common places for aluminum cans:
  The Alley with Dusty Hogg's motorcycle
  The gated area where you found Hogg's helmet
  The front lawn of the Beach House
  The alley in front of the library
  

I want to delete my characters and start over. How do I do that?
• From the Main Menu choose Create A Sim
• Start game
• Save a game over the slot you no longer want

No, you don't understand I just want to delete the slot and have my game be like I just bought it, how do I do that?
• It is not possible to create a blank save file once a save file has been written to a slot.
• This doesn't stop you from saving over old files [see above].
• If you're having trouble keeping track of saved games and want to clear them out, why not save at the very first moment of the game in all slots? That will be easy to track.

Does this game have a Free Play Mode?
• There is no need for a separate "free play" mode, since you are free to play as you like, whether you prefer open-ended play or playing to satisfy the goals along the way.
• You are free to play for as long as you like - it is not mandatory that you "beat" the game.
• If you want to make it so that you cannot accidentally trigger the end movie, then leave the Rocket in the Barn after repairing it. This will lock the Rocket up and guarantee that you can continue to play forever with all areas and characters unlocked.

How can I enter a cheat code?
• Unlike The Sims for the PC, this game does not contain a word based cheat system.

When does Giuseppi Mezzoalto's Riddle Machine appear?
• Giuseppi's van only appears at night between the hours of 9pm and 5am
• The van will not show up if you are on the portion of the map that the van normally shows up (Criminals are very suspicious people, he will wait until you leave the area and move in quick)

Alright so where is this "Riddle Machine?"
• The van is located near the staircase leading to the beach

How do you sit while playing the computer, studying, eating, or playing chess?
• Sims in SimValley are very active Sims they don't have time to sit down to do things
• They are always off on some other wacky new adventure in a moments notice

I made (Insert SimValley Resident's name) mad at me. How do I get them to talk to me again?
• Once you upset a fellow Sim, you have to let them cool off for about 1 Sim day before they will want to talk to you again
• The anger trigger can be avoided by jumping out of the conversation on the third negative conversation path you choose
  The positive side is the Sim will never be so angry that you will have to wait a day to keep trying to raise their relationship score
  The negative side is this is a fast way to lower your relationship score if you are not careful
  

While talking to Chet R. Chase, one of the conversation paths refer to his name sounding like a pun. I don't get it! What does it mean?
• Say his name fast
• Say Cheddar Cheese (pausing for laughter)

How do I go to Paradise Island?
• From the auction computer in the SimValley library, link 2-4 Game Boy Advances to unlock Paradise Island.
• Once unlocked, look for a small motorboat along the docks to take you to the Island. The location will forever be a second home for your Sims to enjoy!

• Calling the person you are looking for gives a good clue as to where they are
  Remember that Sims shift locations on the hour, so if you call at 1:55, at 2:00 the Sim you just called could be half way across town
  Likewise, if a Sim is not available at 1:55, try at 2:00. It is possible they will be in a place you can visit
  
• Sims are people too: they have schedules. If you run into a Sim at a particular time and place chances are you will meet them there again some day.

Is it irony, or just weird? Giuseppi selling a burglar alarm!
• Neither, Giuseppi is just a thief and savvy businessman.

Does anyone one know how to raise (Insert Skill name) levels?
• There are skill build objects such as the treadmill for Body skill points, mirrors for Charisma skill points
• Once you have completed Mission 3, Goal 3, the library has books available on all skills in the game
• You could always hire a Ninja to teach to their craft for a price.
  Yeah, right, where are you going to find a Ninja at 11pm at night? A Mansion? Oh yeah only on a Monday too, that's the ticket
  Let me guess at 3 am Ninja's get bored and just want to hang out in a Park maze on Fridays
  

Is there a code to unlock all the Mini-Games?
• No, but you can link the GBA up to the Gamecube and play all of the Mini-games that way if you're anxious.

Mower Madness
• The object of the game is to run over the most weeds before time runs out - weeds are green leafy plants
• Running over chickens may seems like fun but they only reduce your relationship points with your uncle
• Running over flowers subtracts 5 points per flower
• The Higher your job level the more weeds there are
• As your job level increases your scores are multiplied

Smoothie Slider
• Match the drink to the coaster
  If there is no coaster that matches, a bar patron will take a substitution
  There is a 50/50 chance that they will like the substitution you offer them
  
• Higher tips come from:
  Distance customers
  Matching exact drink
  

Powerlifter
• This game is variation on the classic button masher
• Tap A until the arrow appears on screen
• Press the control pad in the direction the arrow shows
• Continue to tap A
• Press Control pad in the direction of the next arrow
  Immediate failures are caused by two things happening at the same time (i.e. hitting UP and the A button at the same time
  This game never says to push the buttons extremely fast
  If you maintain a constant speed you can do well in this game
  

Bait Flinger
• Baits are color coded to their appropriate depths:
  Light Blue: Shallow
  Green: Medium
  Blue: Deep
  
• Small fish swim fast than large ones, so a less valuable fish next to a more valuable fish will always get the bait first
• You can reel your bait in quickly by holding A
  Any fish close enough to have been attracted to it will flee
  This is a good way to weed out smaller fish
  

Jam Session
• You can press the button combination while the symbols are entering the box
• If three button combinations are (for example) Down-A, Down-B, Down-A, you can just hold down the Down direction and worry about pressing A or B
• The more combinations you get correct the more you Jam meter fills
  When it is full, your Sim will perform an animation
  Also earn a little more money
  
• You can actually play this minigame twice in a row: Play it at 11pm, and when you finish it will still be within the hours of the game, but a new day

Pizza Pandemonium
• Match your uncompleted pizza to the one in the picture on the right side of the screen
• Use the A button to throw the pizza into the air to "catch" the topping
• You can use either Up or Down directional buttons or the R or L shoulder buttons to rotate pizza to next slice area
• Toppings on a pizza increase with level
  Level 1 - 3 toppings
  Level 5 - 7 toppings
  
• Your score is based on the number of correctly place toppings, the more valuable a topping, the higher on the screen it is, and the faster it moves

Cliff Diver X
• Each direction on the D-pad corresponds to a particular trick
  Left - Reverse Pike
  Up - Pike
  Down - Spin
  Right - Tuck
  
• Stop doing all tricks before hitting the water
• Immediately after entering water, press up on the D-Pad to swim to the surface
• The greater the difficulty of a successful div, the greater the final score
  Reverse Pike: 16, Difficulty Modifier of 30%
  Pike Flip: 12, Difficulty Modifier of 20%
  Tuck Flip: 8, Difficulty Modifier of 10%
  Spin: 4, Difficulty Modifier of 5%
  
• A great little trick to exploit is to run to the Hospital after Diving, and continually sleep until the next Diving day. After you finish the diving competition you will notice your stats are a little bit higher then when you got there. Run back to the hospital and start the cycle over again. You should be able to complete this trick 6 or 7 times. Even if you pass out, you wind up back at the hospital to start the cycle over again

Petri Dish
• Try to eliminate the largest possible chains of like-colored amoebas
• Selecting a single amoebas clears all other amoebas of the same color horizontally and vertically, the larger the chain the more the point value
• A mutagen will randomly appear on the top of a stack of amoeba's and change the colors of any top-row amoebas
  An effective strategy for this would be to concentrate on chains dealing with top row amoebas

IF YOU HAVE A BABY AND FIND IT HARD TO RAISE WELL BECAUSE OF OTHER SIMS COMING OVER AND MESSING ABOUT WITH THE BABY OR YOUR SIM WANDERING OFF. BUILD A RECTANGLE ROOM AND HAVE A COOKER, FRIDGE, BED, TOILET, BATH TUB, ENTERTAINMENT AND TELLEPHONE AND OF COURSE A CRIB. GET THE SIM THAT YOU CONTROLE TO LOOK AFTER THE BABY IN THE ROOM THEN GET RID OF ALL DOORS (BUT HAVE WINDOWS) RAISE THE BABY AND THEN TAKE APART THE ROOM.

ALSO IF YOU HAVE A GBA AND GC WITHT HE SIMS BUSTIN OUT ON BOTH CONSOLES (THEY ARE VERY VERY DIFFERENT PLOTS SO ITS LIKE BUYING TWO DIFFERENT GAMES) AND A CONNECT LEAD FOR GBA AND GC, IF YOU MAIN SIM GETS ITS STATS WAY DOWN TO WHERE YOU CAN EVEN STUDY OR GO TO WORK IN A GOOD MOOD SEND YOUR GC SIM TO THE GBA HEAL THEM UP AT YOUR UNCLES HOUSE THEN SEND THEM BACK AS GOOD A GOLD!
